2020 Virtual Veterans Day Ceremony
Today we salute all veterans who have served or are currently serving our country, especially UC Alumni veterans!
This year, the annual Veterans Day ceremony will be conducted virtually. The ceremony will be shown via UC Livestream on your computer or cell phone, tonight, November 11, at 7pm. You may also view it at a later date, as the event will be archived. https://livestream.com/accounts/2090246/events/9383632
We strive to connect with and honor all UC alumni who are currently serving or have served our country in the military. Our goal is to compile a comprehensive list of all UC alumni veterans, and we continue to add names regularly. Please check the list below to see if your name, or that of your sibling or classmate who has served, is listed. Please email alumni@unioncatholic.org with any additions or corrections.
Additionally, we have converted one of the lighted display cases in the Tradition Meets Tomorrow Hallway (second floor outside the library) into a UC military exhibit. The showpiece is a framed American flag that flew over the US Embassy, Kabul, Afghanistan and was donated by Andrew R. Fingall, Major, USAF, and UC Class of 1990. We invite our UC Alumni Veterans to donate an item and/or photo of you in uniform that we may add to the display.
We are thankful for and blessed by your service, and we are immensely proud to call you UC alumni!
