Admissions Process

The application process for admission to Union Catholic varies slightly depending on where you are in your education. Use the links below to download an application or contact the admissions office to request an application by mail.

9th Grade Applicants For Fall 2018

Students interested in applying for admission to the Class of 2022 in September 2018 must:

  • Complete and submit the Union Catholic Application for Admission:
    To submit an online Application for Admission, email krudnicki@unioncatholic.org with the student’s full first and last name, current address and current school to request login credentials –or- download the Application for Admission and submit hard copy.  The Union Catholic Application for Admission is Due by December 1, 2017.
  • Submit 6th, 7th and 8th grade records and standardized test scores - Transcript Release Form:
  • Take the Coop Exam on November 10, 2017. On-line registration may be found at www.njcoopexam.org
Admission Decisions for the Class of 2022 will be mailed on January 11, 2018 in accordance with Archdiocesan Guidelines.
Accepted students may register online beginning January 13, 2018 through January 31, 2018 or in person on Signing Day, February 3, 2018 from 9 am - 11 am.
All Class of 2022 students should attend Signing Day on February 3, 2018.
Families needing an alternate registration time may contact the Admissions Office at 908-889-1600, ext. 328; appointments are available Monday, February 5, 2018 through Friday, February 9, 2018.

Transfer Applicants

Students interested in applying for a possible transfer into grades 10 or 11 for the 2018-2019 school year must:

  • Complete and submit the Union Catholic Application for Admission. Submit an unofficial copy of standardized test scores and all high school records, including discipline and attendance records - Transcript Release Form.
  • All students whose transcript indicates they are possible candidates for admission must meet with Admissions Director Betsy Thornton. Contact the Office of Admissions at 908-889-1600, ext. 302 to schedule an interview. After the interview, a final decision will be made regarding acceptance.

International Students
