Union Catholic's Latest SDSN Day was a huge success

Union Catholic’s Schedule Dedicated to Student Needs (SDSN) on Thursday was a huge success.

Freshmen and sophomore students had the opportunity to hear from Morris County Supervising Assistant Prosecutor Samantha DeNegri and Sergeant Patrick Laguerre. Students learned about bias issues, cyber harassment, school safety and making smart decisions about social media and potential implications.

Meanwhile, the juniors and seniors heard from a panel of nine UC alumni, who are current college students. The nine alums on the panel were Mike Marano (moderator), Courtney Lucius, Anthony Madsen, Evelyn O'Connor, Ryan Woods, Ava Perona, Nick Hart, Cameron Campbell, and Kate Valendo.

UC’s juniors and seniors had the opportunity to hear about choosing colleges, the transition to college, picking classes, meeting with professors, roommate challenges, switching majors, being a student athlete, Greek life and more! Students had the opportunity to ask questions and learn about what college life is like from students who once sat in their seats.
