Several Union Catholic Students Earned AP Scholar Awards

Sixteen recent graduates of Union Catholic and 13 rising seniors at the school have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams during this past school year.
 
The College Board’s Advanced Placement program recognizes several levels of achievement based on students’ performance on AP Exams. 
 
Seven students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. These students are Isabela Allen ‘21, Danielle Coyne ‘21, Kaitlyn Dohn ‘21, Sabrina Mayor ‘21, Clare McGuinness ‘21, Arminder Singh ‘21, and Quqi Zhang ‘21.

Nine students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honors Award by earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. These students are Yvonne Agyapong ‘22, Nadia Blouin ‘21, Emma Donnelly ‘22, Yingxin Hou ‘21, Abigail Hunsinger ‘22, Caroline Mehno ‘22, Michael Palacio ‘22, Abhijay Upadhyaya ‘22, Yang Zhao ‘21.  
 
An additional 13 students earned AP Scholar Awards by completing three or more AP Exams with scores of 3 or higher. These students are Benjamin Abood ‘21, Zach Billotto ‘21, Shane Brosnan ‘22, Mikaila Farrell ‘22, Madeline Gunsiorowski ‘21, Courtney Lucius ‘22, Meghan Mahaffey ‘21, Melina Piatta Chayan ‘21, Kayla Riley ‘22, Joseph Sebastian ‘22, Rajit Sharma ‘21, Sophia Wright, ‘22, and Wenhui Yan ‘22.
