Before UC: Was a stay at home mom with her three children.
Journey to UC: “My son's soccer coach at UC, Joe DeOliveira (no relation), introduced us to Sister Percylee, who was looking for people to work at UC.’’
Biggest changes you’ve seen at UC? “Some of the biggest changes I have seen is how much the school invests in making the building a better place for students and staff, and the technology.’’
What do you love the most about working at UC? “How peaceful it is.’
Favorite moment/moments during your time at UC. “My son's graduation from UC in 2003. To see how hard he worked to achieve his goal. And when a former student from UC, Sidney participated in the Rio Olympics in my home country of Brazil.
Did you know: Rosimeri’s husband, Fernando, is also celebrating his 20th service anniversary a UC this year. The couple moved to the U.S. in 1999, and they have been married 41 years.
What are you most proud of when you reflect on your years at UC? “I am most proud of how I came to a foreign country, not knowing the language, and UC welcomed us with open arms without any prejudice.''
Something about yourself that most people don’t know? “I was blessed with a green thumb. I tend to rescue plants, some even from UC, and I am able to bring them back to life.’’
Favorite thing to do in your spare time? “Play with my dog, Uno, and spend time with my grandkids.’’Favorite UC Core Value: Respect
