The Union Catholic Parent Council invites parents and their teenage students to attend Share the Keys, an interactive orientation program for parents and their teenage drivers. This informative presentation will take place on Tuesday, October 8 at 7 p.m. in the UC cafeteria.
Mrs. Allison Lestarchick, Director of Parent Relations, emphasized the value of the program and encourages parents and their teenage drivers to attend.
“Share the Keys educates not only teens but the parents and guardians of new drivers, as well,” said Mrs. Lestarchick. “The program stresses to parents and guardians the importance of setting good examples for their children. One of the most important things that parents and guardians can do for their teen driver is to model safe driving behaviors. Studies have proven that teens mimic their parents' driving behaviors, regardless of whether or not they taught them to drive. I strongly encourage all parents along with their teenage students to attend this very informative evening.”
