Union Catholic's Thanksgiving Food Drive Was A Big Success

The Union Catholic High School community came together in a beautiful display of generosity and teamwork for this year’s Thanksgiving Food Drive. Thanks to your contributions we collected an impressive array of items, including canned vegetables, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, pasta, hot chocolate, crackers, cookies, and, of course, turkeys!

In total, UC donated over 25 bins of food, 38 turkeys, and 8 hams. Union Catholic's Student Council Representatives delivered the donations to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Food Pantry and then helped sort and organize the various items for distribution. Several students who participated shared how the experience inspired them. “It felt so good knowing we were helping families who really need it,” said one student. Another added, “Seeing how our efforts made a difference in the community made me want to keep giving back.”

This drive was a shining example of UC’s core values—community, compassion, respect, responsibility, and honesty. Together, we made a meaningful difference, and we are deeply grateful for everyone’s kindness, generosity, and support.

A special thank you goes out to the Troopers United Foundation and the New Jersey State Police for their generous donation of 12 turkeys and 8 hams.

Thank you all for being part of this remarkable success!  Happy Thanksgiving from Union Catholic!
