Super Tuesday at Union Catholic was filled with school spirit, pride, service and community

Union Catholic celebrated its annual “Super Tuesday” this week as the school displayed a combination of school spirit, service, and community that stretched from the morning on the track to the evening on the stage.

The day began with a Mini-Relay for Life, which was run by UC’s Student Movement Against Cancer club, as all students walked around the track in a powerful show of unity and support for the fight against cancer. Each step symbolized the school’s commitment to making a difference, with students, faculty, and staff coming together for a cause that impacts so many families. The event blended reflection and purpose with a strong sense of community, setting the tone for the rest of the day.

The energy shifted later in the day as the school gathered for its spring pep rally. The gym was filled with music, cheers, and a spirited tug-of-war, as each grade level brought enthusiasm and pride.

The day concluded with one of the most anticipated events of the year—the Mr. UC Pageant.

Held in the auditorium, the event showcased the personalities, talents, and humor of senior contestants, drawing a large crowd of students, families, faculty, and staff. The contestants were Ryan Farago, Evan Florek, Johnny LeDonne, Solomon Lytle, Harrison Manousos, Henry May, Gavin Pankratz, Kelvi Pereyra, Noah Sosa, and Greg Viloria. The pageant featured a mix of entertainment, creativity, and school pride, as each participant took the stage in front of an energized audience.

When the night came to a close, Solomon Lytle was crowned Mr. UC 2026, earning the title after a standout performance that captured the spirit of the event.

From honoring an important cause in the morning to celebrating school pride and student talent throughout the day, Super Tuesday once again reflected what makes Union Catholic special—a community that knows how to come together, support one another, and create lasting memories.
