These prestigious recognitions reflect the school's commitment to academic excellence and college readiness while underscoring the hard work, dedication, and outstanding achievements of its students.
The AP Scholar recognitions highlight Union Catholic's continued tradition of academic excellence and its commitment to providing students with opportunities to excel through a challenging curriculum that fosters achievement, confidence, and lifelong learning.
Students are recognized by the College Board based on their AP Exam performance.
The AP Scholar Award is presented to students who score a 3 or higher on at least three AP Exams.
The AP Scholar with Honor Award recognizes students who earn an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams while scoring a 3 or higher on four or more exams.
The AP Scholar with Distinction Award is presented to students who achieve an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams and earn scores of 3 or higher on at least five exams.
The Outstanding AP Scholar Award, a distinction presented by Union Catholic, recognizes students who earn an average score of at least 4.0 on all AP Exams while scoring a 4 or higher on eight or more exams.
