The Union Catholic Private Transportation Program
Recognizing our families' need for accessible and efficient transportation, Union Catholic offers a robust private transportation program for families. For the 2024-2025 school year, Union Catholic has bus stops in the following towns:
Basking Ridge, Berkeley Heights, Bloomfield, Carteret, Chatham, Clark, Cranford, East Orange, Edison, Elizabeth, Fanwood, Garwood, Gillette, Hillside, Irvington, Kenilworth, Linden, Maplewood, Metuchen, Millington, Montclair, Mountainside, New Providence, Newark, North Plainfield, Orange, Piscataway, Rahway, Roselle, Roselle Park, Scotch Plains, Short Hills, Somerset, South Orange, South Plainfield, Springfield, Stirling, Union, Warren, Watchung, West Orange, Westfield, Woodbridge Township
The cost of enrollment in Union Catholic's Private Transportation Program for the 2024-2025 school year is $1,600. Enrollment in this program is a full-year financial commitment. This non-refundable enrollment fee will be made in three installments. The first payment of $550 will be due in June 2024. The second payment of $525 will be due in November, 2024. The third payment of $525 will be due in January 2025.
Some aforementioned school districts provide aid-in-lieu payments to families for transportation related expenses. Please contact your local board of education to see if you qualify.
