Admissions Process
The application process for admission to Union Catholic varies slightly depending on where you are in your education.

9th Grade Applicants for Fall 2024
Students interested in applying for the Class of 2028 should contact the Admissions Office for seat availability at (908)889-1600 x302. All applicants must:
- Schedule a Union Catholic High School Admissions Exam. Exams can be scheduled Mondays through Fridays at 8:30am by appointment only. To schedule the test, contact the Admissions Office as soon as possible.
- Complete and submit the Union Catholic Application for Admission | Click here to complete our online application
- Submit 6th 7th and 8th Grade records and standardized test scores. Please use the 9th grade applicant record form when submitting transcript.
- If applicable, submit a copy of a service plan (IEP, ISP, 504)
9th Grade Applicants for Fall 2025
Applicants for the Class of 2029 for the 2025-2026 School Year should:
- Take the High School Entrance Exam (COOP) on November 8, 2024. Information about and registration for the COOP is available online at www.njcoopexam.org.

- Complete and submit the Union Catholic Application for Admission by December 1, 2024. | Click here to complete our online application
- Submit 6th 7th and 8th Grade records and standardized test scores. Please use the 9th grade applicant record form when submitting transcript.
- If applicable, submit a copy of a service plan (IEP, ISP, 504)
9th Grade Applicant Transcript Release Form:
Transfer Applicants
Students interested in applying for a possible transfer into grades 10 or 11 for the 2024-2025 school year must:
- Complete and submit the Union Catholic Application for Admission. | CLIck here to complete our online application
- Submit an unofficial copy of standardized test scores and all high school records, including discipline and attendance records .
- If applicable, submit a copy of a service plan (IEP, ISP, 504)
- All students whose transcript indicates they are possible candidates for admission must meet with Director of Admissions, Jane Bowman. Contact the Office of Admissions at 908-889-1600, ext. 302 to schedule an interview. After the interview, a final decision will be made regarding acceptance.
