Admissions Process

• Complete and submit the Union Catholic Application for Admission by December 1, 2026. 

There is no application fee. 

• Submit 6^th, 7^th and 8^th Grade records and standardized test scores.
• Please use the 9^th grade applicant record form when submitting transcript.
• If applicable, submit a copy of a service plan (IEP, ISP, 504).

• The Archdiocese of Newark's COOP Exam for the Class of 2031 will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026. Registration information can be found here.

• The Union Catholic Scholarship Exam will be held on November 21, 2026 at 9am and November 22, 2026 at 12pm. Click here to register.

Our Admissions Team will carefully review your application, academic records, and test results, and will guide you through the process. We’re here to support you every step of the way and help determine if Union Catholic is the right fit for you and your family.

Admission Decision Letters will be mailed on January 14, 2027.
Online Registration opens on January 15, 2027.

Upon your acceptance to UC, every incoming freshman is paired with a UC Big Brother or Big Sister. This is an upperclassman mentor who helps you feel welcomed, supported, and confident from day one.

From orientation through your first year, you’ll have guidance, connection, and a strong sense of community as you begin your UC journey.
