As Union Catholic began a new chapter following the remarkable 45-year leadership of Sister Percylee Hart, RSM, the school entered this transition with both deep gratitude for its history and excitement for the future.
Dr. James T. Reagan, Jr. brings more than 25 years of service to the Union Catholic community, having previously served as Assistant Principal, Chief Development Officer, and Planned Giving Officer. Throughout his time at UC, he has played an instrumental role in advancing initiatives that strengthen the school’s mission and support generations of students and families.
Here at UC, we pride ourselves on our diverse student body, talented faculty and staff, and cutting-edge academics, including individualized course offerings for every student. UC’s thriving performing arts and athletic programs as well as its extensive student activities allow our students to excel both in and out of the classroom. Our vibrant Campus Ministry programs allow all of our students to grow in their faith and commitment to God. All of these elements combine to make Union Catholic one of the premier co-educational high schools not only in Union County, but also in the State of New Jersey.
As I step into this role following the incredible leadership of Sister Percylee Hart, I do so with the utmost respect for our school’s history and great excitement for its future. My background in educational leadership, public administration, and nonprofit management has prepared me to lead Union Catholic with vision and purpose, grounded in the values that have always made this school special.
