Technology

Union Catholic High School is considered to be the premier Catholic high school for the integration of technology into its curriculum. We believe that technology is a tool that can provide all students with the ability to learn, and the students of today need to use the tools of their generation while learning. Technology is that tool. Whether it be our state of the art laptop program, where students can complete all phases of an assignment without ever leaving their desk on our T1 Networked Internet Access, Union Catholic students are preparing themselves for what their futures will hold.

Union Catholic has chosen to taken a bold step forward by creating an atmosphere of Anytime/Anywhere Learning. Through a partnership with Microsoft, Toshiba and IBM, Union Catholic has initiated a program with all members. All students are equipped with a Laptop Computer. Students use the laptop in class and at home. At Union Catholic we believe that we must break down the walls of the traditional classroom and educate our students as global learners. With this technology students can learn anytime/anywhere. They are no longer limited to the classroom environment because their learning tool can now go with them. For further information on our Laptop program, please contact Karen Piasecki at kpiasecki@unioncatholic.org.
