Important Admission Dates

For the last five years Union Catholic has filled their freshman class on Registration Day. To ensure that you are a part of the Class of 2012, please follow the following timeline:

September

Registration packets for the High School Admission Test (also known as the Copperative Admission Examination "COOP") will be available from the Catholic elementary schools and parishes or by calling the Union Catholic Admission Office (908) 889-1600 ext. 328.

Choose Union Catholic as one of the schools to receive your COOP testing scores. Union Catholic's school code is 835.

October 1

Union Catholic's Freshman for a Day Program begins.

October 2

Attend the Fall Open House at 7:00 PM and get Union Catholic's Application for Admission.

November 9

High School Admission Test date (COOP Test)

December 1

Deadline to complete your Union Catholic application for admission and return to the UC Admissions Office. As soon as we receive your completed Application and your HSAT(COOP) scores, we will be able to make our acceptance decisions. We will register 200 students for the Class of 2012.

January 2, 2008

Deadline for registration to take Union Catholic's Scholarship Exam

January 5

Union Catholic's Scholarship Exam - This is the only date; there will be no make-up exam.

January 17

Admission decision letters are mailed to students in accordance with the Archdiocese of Newark Guidelines.

February 2

Registration for the Class of 2012.
